The French dance music duo Daft Punk are to split after twenty-eight years making music together. Guy-Manuel De-Homem Christo and Thomas Bangalter have been responsible for many big hits including "Around the World", "One More Time" and "Get Lucky" which featured Pharrell Williams. The duo broke the news while donning their iconic robot costumes seen in many of their music videos. Daft Punk originated from the French underground house scene and made their mark with their pioneering dance debut album "Homework". Get Lucky was their biggest single which released in 2013 and was a massive worldwide hit.
