Fun loving duo MNA (pronounced Mee-na) have released their debut original single 'New Normal' on the 19th of February. 'New Normal' makes effective use of gradually escalating instrumental sounds from a stripped down beginning to a wholehearted finish. The song is well written and produced. The melody and feel of the song is catchy and serves as a nice introduction for MeMe and AC.
The sisters who are based out of Nashville have been singing together since 2013. The lyrics for 'New Normal' were mostly written by younger sister AC, with both of them creating the melody. The song was written at the peak of quarantine and deals with struggling with your sense of identity during isolation. MeMe told Globelink 'its a song we felt others could relate to during this hard time'. She added 'We strive to create music people resonate with'.
